I will say that abortion is wrong, I know it's wrong because I know someone who's had more than one abortion. Believe me, it does mess you up. Sometimes mental side effects don't become apparent for years, and sometimes, many times, women don't feel like they have a choice. Support people in your life that have had an abortion, and try to get counciling for them if they need it. If you know someone who's pregnaunt, support them, don't judge them. Wow……

I don’t know how to respond to any of these. I will say that abortion is wrong, I know it’s wrong because I know someone who’s had more than one abortion. Believe me, it does mess you up. Sometimes mental side effects don’t become apparent for years, and sometimes, many times, women don’t feel like they have a choice.

I am the one who was fired for putting out cupcakes and fliers with a note in the teacher's lounge at the school where I worked as the nurse. I am not a confrontational type person - and never thought that cupcakes and a passive flier with facts about abortion would get me fired. Of course, other things have been thrown in since as to the reason I was fired in an effort to make it sound legitimate. I am a lover and follower of Jesus - and have been passionately against abortion ever since I knew what it was. You won't find me arguing with anyone about it - or holding graphic signs for passersby. Yet there is conviction deep in my spirit to protect the unborn. When given the opportunity I stand up for those who aren't even given a chance to stand up for themselves. I have been struggling with this situation, as Joe mentioned above, for the past two weeks since it happened. I am not out to seek vengeance against my employer or to cause trouble. But it's just not about me - it's about everyone who should have been born since Rowe vs Wade in 1973 - who were murdered... legally. It's not about whose opinion is right - but opening people's eyes to the facts of this tragedy. As of right now, there are no pregnant teen girls at my high school, which can be considered a blessing from God. It was the first National Pro-Life Cupcake event in our area. It was a GREAT success!!! A local bakery in Avoca called Cwikla's Bakery delivered 400 Pro-life cupcakes to each location. Everbody loved the Cupcakes!!! Each was unique with Colorful Pro-life slogans. Students were trilled & very exicted about the event. The Scranton Prep students handed them out during lunch periods; some of the teachers baked 100 cupcakes for the event. The Students for Life at the University of Scranton are running a spiritually adopt baby program & any proceeds from the Cupcake for Life event will be donated to Sr. Anna & her pregnancy program at St. Jospeh's Center. The Yellow National Pro-Life Cucake Day shirts are TERRIFIC. Students were disappointed we weren't selling T-shirts at the event! There is talk of Scranton Prep having a Cupcakes for Life event in the spring.
